Salut la gang!

 

L'Ontario aurait eux leurs premières tornades ce Vendredi le 13 mai. Soit une a Rodney/Elgin et une a New Glasgow...

 

Certain amateur sur d'autre forum croit a de faux rapports, sauf que durant la soirée,on nous a annoncé la mort d'une personne a cause de la tornade d'Elgin...

TORNADOS HAVE BEEN OBERVED IN RODNEY AND NEW GLASGOW.

THE THUNDERSTORMS THAT PRODUCED THESE STORMS ARE MOVING EASTWARDS AT

60 KM/H.

 

THIS IS A WARNING THAT SEVERE THUNDERSTORMS WITH TORNADOES ARE

IMMINENT OR OCCURRING IN THESE REGIONS. MONITOR WEATHER CONDITIONS.

Il est a noté qu'un TVS (Tornado Vortex Signature) avait été détecté au dessus du Lac Érié (tout près de Rodney) donc, il serait tout a fait plausible ce rapport.

guelph - erin - southern wellington county.

 

a line of strong to severe thunderstorms has been observed on

weather radar from brampton to kitchener at 10.50 pm edt.

the line is quasistationary.

 

another severe thunderstorm is observed near port dover.

tornadoes have been reported with this storm.

these storms can produce 2 centimetres hail damaging winds of

over 100 km/h intense lightning torrential downpours and

possibly a funnel cloud for the port dover storm.

 

this is a warning that severe thunderstorms are imminent or

occurring in these regions. Remember some severe thunderstorms

produce tornadoes..Listen for updated warnings. Emergency

management ontario recommends taking cover immediately when

threatening weather approaches.

STRAIGHT LINE WIND DAMAGE NEAR RODNEY IN WESTERN ELGIN COUNTY.

  A STRONG BATTLE BETWEEN VERY WARM SUMMERLIKE AIR JUST TO THE

SOUTH OF LAKE ERIE AND MUCH COOLER AIR OVER SOUTHERN ONTARIO

CULMINATED IN THE EXPLOSION OF STRONG TO SEVERE THUNDERSTORMS

OVER THE DISTRICT FRIDAY EVENING.

 

  OPP AND CANWARN REPORTS HAVE BEEN RECEIVED OF VERY STRONG TO

DAMAGING WINDS OVER ELGIN KENT AND MIDDLESEX COUNTIES. THERE WERE

ALSO A FEW REPORTS FROM THE US NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE OF 2 CM HAIL

OVER SOUTHEASTERN LOWER MICHIGAN JUST ACROSS THE DETROIT RIVER FROM

ESSEX COUNTY.

 

  OFFICIALS FROM ENVIRONMENT CANADA HAVE INVESTIGATED THE WIND

DAMAGE IN THE RODNEY AREA AND DETERMINED THE TREE DAMAGE IN THE

RODNEY AREA WAS FROM 90 TO 100 KM/H STRAIGHT LINE WIND GUSTS.

 

  OPP AND CANWARN REPORTS INDICATE NO SIGNIFICANT WIND DAMAGE HAS

BEEN OBSERVED IN THE LUCAN AREA.

 

  A SUMMARY OF THE REPORTS RECEIVED SO FAR BY ENVIRONMENT CANADA
