(CP) - Weather over the Victoria Day holiday weekend has been anything but holiday-like in much of Ontario. Tornadoes struck at least three times. The most recent twister hit Monday, in Waterloo, slightly damaging some homes and trees. Geoff Coulson of Environment Canada says that was a low-grade category F-Zero tornado, and no one was hurt. (CP) - Some Ontario residents spent their long weekend scanning the sky for signs of tornadoes after several touched down. One twister hit part of Waterloo yesterday, causing slight damage. On Saturday, two tornadoes hit the Stratford area, including one that tore the roof off a home in Gads Hill. Another weaker tornado hit the nearby town of Mitchell. There were no injuries in any of the incidents. Message édité (25-05-2004 14:02) Citer Lien vers le commentaire Share on other sites
