AO très négatif prochainement

Pour bien comprendre les oscillations, il faut se dire qu'ils ont une phase positive et une phase négative, et chaque phase change le comportement de la troposphere dans sa région. Pour les recherches sur internet, il faut souvent utiliser le mot INDEX à la fin, exemple.: AO index. Les abréviations sont en anglais pour des raisons d'apprentissages.

Suite au ''split'' du polar vortex, l'Europe connaitra du temps très froid en début février. je ne connais pas les records de froid pour l'Europe et quelles années analogues, mais on serait proche. Des températures sous les normales pour les pays du nord et probablement aussi pour la France.

The current, known as the sub polar gyre, has weakened in the past in connection with certain phases of a large-scale atmospheric pressure system known as the North Atlantic Oscillation (NAO). But the NAO has switched phases twice in the 1990s, while the subpolar gyre current has continued to weaken. Now why is Europe having such cold temperatures and even down in the deserts and northern africa are having chilly temperatures. Im just wondering does it have to do with the current getting weak. I smell something fishy hear and im sure we will be hearing lots more on this topic this year.

Pour le froid, je ne crois pas que ce soit terminé pour les derniers mois de l'hiver.
