Le GFS pousse un ouragan sur la Floride et la Côte-Est dès lundi prochain... évidemment c'est encore très sommaire, tout peut changer. Check out the Satellite image below. Notice the wave coming off Africa. That is the wave the GFS and EURO have keyed on to become a hurricane through the Caribbean and then eventually striking the US the week of the 20th. While the exact path is still unknown, because really no storm has formed yet, the GFS has been showing two possible strike areas. One on the Gulf Coast near New Orleans, and the other coming up the East Coast. I think for now, both areas should be considered until the storm forms. I think a strike on the East coast will really depend on how strong the trough coming in will be and how long that trough sticks around. In addition, the Atlantic ridge has been so strong this year that it continues to be the dominate feature across much of the Eastern half of the country i.e. the heat and humidity. Quel moment de détente on s'offre a pratiquer l'observation de l'envol en formation serré des cabanons. En cette saison ils quittent en grandes troupes pour le large. Sur une autre note, il est fréquent qu'ici on attrape la queue de l'ouragan et cela enclenche le processus de l'automnalisation.
